Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
We never sell your data. We never use your customer data for advertising. Your business data is yours — we are simply its custodian.
This Privacy Policy explains how LawnCrewIQ LLC (“LawnCrewIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use lawncrewiq.com and the LawnCrewIQ application (“Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and any optional information you provide such as your business phone number, address, and website.
Customer Data
Information about your customers that you enter into LawnCrewIQ — names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. This data belongs to you and is used exclusively to power your account’s features.
Job Data
Records of jobs you create, including scheduled dates, service notes, completion status, assigned crew members, job-site photos, and payment amounts.
Usage Data
Information about how you interact with the Service, including login timestamps, features accessed, actions performed, and session duration. This is used to improve the platform and detect security anomalies.
Payment Data
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information. We retain records of transaction amounts, subscription plan, billing dates, and Stripe’s customer identifiers for billing and support purposes.
Device and Browser Data
IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and session information collected automatically when you use the Service. This data is used for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and rate limiting.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the LawnCrewIQ platform
- Send transactional communications — email confirmations, account invitations, password resets, and security alerts
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Respond to customer support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We NEVER sell your data to third parties. We NEVER use your customer data for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the us-east-2 region (Ohio, USA). Job-site photos are stored in Supabase Storage with private access controls.
We protect your data with the following measures:
- Encryption in transit — All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
- Encryption at rest — Data is encrypted in the database and storage systems
- Row Level Security (RLS) — Database-level policies enforce strict tenant isolation. Each business can only access its own data — even at the infrastructure level, data is isolated between accounts
- Private photo storage — Job photos are stored in a private bucket accessible only to authenticated members of your business via time-limited signed URLs
- Access controls — Internal staff access to production systems is minimized, role-restricted, and logged
No security system is perfectly infallible. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
4. Third-Party Services
LawnCrewIQ uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Supabase — Provides our database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure. Data is stored on AWS us-east-2.
- Stripe, Inc. — Processes all payment transactions. Stripe has its own privacy practices; see stripe.com/privacy.
- Google Cloud Vision— Used to automatically screen uploaded photos for inappropriate content. Images are transmitted to Google’s API for analysis only and are immediately discarded by Google — they are not stored, indexed, retained, or used by Google for any purpose, including model training. Only the moderation result (safe or not safe) is used by LawnCrewIQ.
- Vercel — Hosts our web application and edge network. Vercel processes request logs and serves application traffic.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policies and security standards. We select providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts — Data is retained for as long as your account remains active and in good standing
- Cancelled or deleted accounts — Upon account deletion or cancellation, your data is queued for deletion and removed within 30 days. This process is irreversible.
- Content moderation logs — Records of rejected photo upload attempts (which contain no image data — only the business ID, user ID, rejection reason, and timestamp) are retained for 12 months for safety, compliance, and appeals purposes.
- Payment records — Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by accounting and tax law.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right to access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you and your business
- Right to export — Download your customer, job, route, and business data in a portable format
- Right to correct — Update inaccurate or incomplete information at any time within the application

7. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by sending an email to your registered address and/or posting a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before changes take effect.
