Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

We never sell your data. We never use your customer data for advertising. Your business data is yours — we are simply its custodian.

This Privacy Policy explains how LawnCrewIQ LLC (“LawnCrewIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use lawncrewiq.com and the LawnCrewIQ application (“Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and any optional information you provide such as your business phone number, address, and website.

Customer Data

Information about your customers that you enter into LawnCrewIQ — names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. This data belongs to you and is used exclusively to power your account’s features.

Job Data

Records of jobs you create, including scheduled dates, service notes, completion status, assigned crew members, job-site photos, and payment amounts.

Usage Data

Information about how you interact with the Service, including login timestamps, features accessed, actions performed, and session duration. This is used to improve the platform and detect security anomalies.

Payment Data

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information. We retain records of transaction amounts, subscription plan, billing dates, and Stripe’s customer identifiers for billing and support purposes.

Device and Browser Data

IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and session information collected automatically when you use the Service. This data is used for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and rate limiting.

Weather and Location Data

When you use the weather widget in your dashboard, your business zip code is used to fetch local weather conditions from the National Weather Service API (api.weather.gov). Your zip code is stored as part of your business profile and is used solely to retrieve weather relevant to your service area. No personal data is sent to the National Weather Service.

Customer Address Geocoding

Customer addresses you enter into LawnCrewIQ are geocoded (converted to geographic coordinates) via the Google Maps Geocoding API. This enables route optimization and the customer map view. Only your customer’s address is transmitted for geocoding — no additional personal data is sent. Geocoded coordinates are stored alongside the customer record in your account.

CSV Import Data

When you import customers via CSV, the uploaded file is processed server-side and the contact records are stored in your account. Uploaded files are not retained after processing — only the imported records are saved. Operators are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent and legal authority to import and store any third-party contact information.

In-App Notifications

LawnCrewIQ generates in-app notifications based on activity within your account — such as overdue invoices, new booking requests, job completions, and auto-generated invoices. These notifications are generated and stored within your account and are visible only to members of your business. No notification data is shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the LawnCrewIQ platform
  • Send transactional communications — email confirmations, account invitations, password resets, and security alerts
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Respond to customer support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We NEVER sell your data to third parties. We NEVER use your customer data for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the us-east-2 region (Ohio, USA). Job-site photos are stored in Supabase Storage with private access controls.

We protect your data with the following measures:

  • Encryption in transit — All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
  • Encryption at rest — Data is encrypted in the database and storage systems
  • Row Level Security (RLS) — Database-level policies enforce strict tenant isolation. Each business can only access its own data — even at the infrastructure level, data is isolated between accounts
  • Private photo storage — Job photos are stored in a private bucket accessible only to authenticated members of your business via time-limited signed URLs
  • Access controls — Internal staff access to production systems is minimized, role-restricted, and logged

No security system is perfectly infallible. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

4. Third-Party Services

LawnCrewIQ uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — Provides our database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure. Data is stored on AWS us-east-2.
  • Stripe, Inc. — Processes all payment transactions. Stripe has its own privacy practices; see stripe.com/privacy.
  • Google Cloud Vision— Used to automatically screen uploaded photos for inappropriate content. Images are transmitted to Google’s API for analysis only and are immediately discarded by Google — they are not stored, indexed, retained, or used by Google for any purpose, including model training. Only the moderation result (safe or not safe) is used by LawnCrewIQ.
  • Vercel — Hosts our web application and edge network. Vercel processes request logs and serves application traffic.
  • Anthropic Claude API— Used for the AI yard size estimation feature (Pro and Elite plans only). When you use this optional feature, a satellite image of the specified property address is temporarily transmitted to Anthropic’s Claude Vision API for visual analysis to estimate lawn square footage. The satellite image is not stored by LawnCrewIQ or retained by Anthropic — it is used only transiently to generate the estimate. The resulting estimate is cached in our system for up to 24 hours to avoid redundant requests for the same location. See anthropic.com/privacy.
  • Google Maps Platform— LawnCrewIQ uses several Google Maps services: (1) Google Maps Static APIto retrieve satellite imagery of a property address when you use the AI yard size estimation feature; (2) Google Maps Geocoding APIto convert customer addresses into geographic coordinates for route optimization and map view; and (3) Google Maps JavaScript API to render the interactive customer map. Use of these features is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • National Weather Service (NWS / NOAA) — The dashboard weather widget calls the public api.weather.gov API. Only your business zip code is sent to this service to retrieve local forecast data. The NWS API does not require or receive any personal identifying information, and NOAA does not use this query to identify you.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policies and security standards. We select providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.

AI Yard Size Estimation — Data Flow Detail

Because the AI yard size estimation feature involves third-party APIs in a data pipeline, we describe the full data flow here for transparency:

  • You enter a property address; LawnCrewIQ geocodes it to obtain latitude/longitude
  • A satellite image of that location is fetched from Google Maps Static API
  • The image is sent in-memory to Anthropic’s Claude Vision API for analysis
  • No satellite image is stored — images are processed transiently and immediately discarded after analysis
  • The resulting estimate (square footage, confidence level, and notes) is cached for up to 24 hours to avoid redundant API calls for the same coordinates
  • This feature is entirely optional and is never invoked without your explicit action

5. Data Retention

  • Active accounts — Data is retained for as long as your account remains active and in good standing
  • Cancelled or deleted accounts — Upon account deletion or cancellation, your data is queued for deletion and removed within 30 days. This process is irreversible.
  • Content moderation logs — Records of rejected photo upload attempts (which contain no image data — only the business ID, user ID, rejection reason, and timestamp) are retained for 12 months for safety, compliance, and appeals purposes.
  • Payment records — Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by accounting and tax law.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right to access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you and your business
  • Right to export — Download your customer, job, route, and business data in a portable format
  • Right to correct — Update inaccurate or incomplete information at any time within the application
  • Right to delete — Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Right to restrict processing — In certain circumstances, request that we limit how we use your data

7. Children’s Privacy

LawnCrewIQ is a professional business management platform intended for use by adults (18 years of age or older) operating lawn care businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. 8. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know — The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to Delete — The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by sending an email to your registered address and/or posting a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
